Strawberry and Kiwi Jam

* 1-1/2 pints fresh strawberries
* 2 medium kiwis
* 3-1/2 cups sugar
* 1/2 cup light corn syrup
* 3/4 cup water
* 1-57 g pkg. powdered fruit pectin

Fully crush strawberries one layer at a time. Measure 1-1/2 cups
into a large bowl. Peel and crush kiwis. Measure 1/2 cup. Combine with 
strawberries. Add sugar and corn syrup. Stir thoroughly to dissolve
sugar. Let stand 10 mins. In a small saucepan, mix together water 
and pectin. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly. 
Boil 1 minute. Add to fruit. Stir vigorously 3 minutes. (A few sugar
crystals will remain). Ladle quickly into freezer containers. Seal. 
Let stand at room temperature until set. (This may take up to 24 
hours.) Store in frezzer: remove as neeeded. Yields: 3 pints.
